As an Adult Social Care Company, New Directions takes pride in providing exceptional services that prioritise the well-being and happiness of the people we support. Recently, we held special Kings Coronation celebration events at three of our outstanding services.

At Waterloo Park, we embarked on a fantastic journey back in time to celebrate the Coronation. The day commenced with a delightful singalong to the King’s favourite tunes, evoking a sense of nostalgia for the grandeur and pageantry of the era. It was heart-warming to witness everyone enthusiastically singing along, creating a vibrant and joyous atmosphere.

Following the musical extravaganza, they indulged in a regal Coronation buffet, a feast fit for royalty. As the day drew to a close, they engaged in a spirited quiz about the Royal Family. This celebration at Waterloo Park exemplified the spirit of togetherness and the joy that accompanies every day spent there.

Brookdale Dementia Day Centre prides itself on providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment that promotes dignity and independence for the people they support. In their King Charles Coronation Day celebrations, they created an enchanting and majestic experience for all. The dedicated staff meticulously crafted a regal atmosphere, transforming the centre into a realm of joy and grandeur.

Every element, from the enchanting decorations to the lively music, was thoughtfully chosen to ensure a memorable day. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional staff, volunteers, and caregivers, who continuously go above and beyond to make every day extraordinary for the people we support. Their unwavering support and dedication make Brookdale a truly remarkable place.

The Chase Heys team organised a fantastic Coronation Day celebration filled with laughter, joy, and heart-warming moments.

A special shoutout goes to Carole, the talented site chef, who worked her magic in the kitchen, preparing exquisite cakes for the festivities. The delectable treats added an extra touch of sweetness to the day, showcasing Carole’s dedication and culinary prowess. We are immensely grateful for her contribution.

Natalie Reynolds, the daughter of one of our residents, expressed her gratitude for the memorable day. She had this to say.

“I was over with my mum yesterday afternoon, and Jenny’s Coronation quiz was amazing. I know I keep telling you how fantastic your team is, but I’m going to tell you again! Karen and some of the girls stayed on after their shift had finished, to finish the quiz, and the atmosphere was so lovely. There was so much laughter and friendly competition! Jenny worked so hard on the quiz, and the tables for the coronation afternoon tea looked beautiful! It was so much fun! And I’ve not heard my mum laugh like that in a very long time. I’m really grateful for that lovely day! Thank you! ”

The Kings Coronation celebrations held at Waterloo Park, Brookdale Dementia Day Centre, and Chase Heys exemplify our commitment to providing exceptional care and creating moments of joy for everyone who attends. These events showcased the dedication and hard work of our exceptional staff, who go above and beyond to make every day special.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all those involved in making these celebrations unforgettable.
