Accessibility

New Directions aims to make our websites accessible and usable for people of all abilities and disabilities, including older audiences, and those with visual, hearing, cognitive or motor impairments.

Many people use assistive technologies to allow them, for example, to view websites in easier-to-read colours, with larger fonts or as spoken text, or to navigate around a site using the keyboard only.

The New Directions website pages are designed so that you can change the style, size and colour of the font used. You can also change the background colour too. If you wish to change any of these things, please see the guides below for some of the most popular web browsers.

To access the accessibility function of your browser please customise settings in:

Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome

For instructions on how to access the accessibility function on your mobile device, tablet, laptop or pc/Mac please visit the manufacturers website.

We aim to give the best experience to all our users and ensure that whatever device or technology they’re using, our content is always available.
