Over the past four decades, Chase Heys has played a multifaceted role within the community. It has functioned as a residential care home, a respite service, and a day service before transitioning to its current critical role as an Intermediate Care Service.
Today, Chase Heys plays a vital part in supporting individuals during their post-operative recovery following hospital discharge. This essential service not only aids individuals on their path to healing but also significantly contributes to the efficiency of the local healthcare system, a fact that we can all be proud of and support.
By alleviating pressure on NHS hospitals and freeing up beds, Chase Heys fosters a smoother-running healthcare experience for everyone.
The staff team organised a fantastic party, with each team member bringing ideas and sharing tasks, which everyone enjoyed.
Chase Heys’ talented cooks, Lynda McCall and Carol Waring, prepared the wonderful birthday cake and food, which was exceptionally delicious.
To commemorate this significant achievement, Chase Heys hosted a celebratory event marking its 40th anniversary. The gathering brought together past and present staff members and those who benefitted from the service’s exceptional care. This day gave us all a moment to appreciate the service’s enduring impact.
“Chase Heys has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past 40 years,” remarked Service Manager Nicky Maguire. “I am honoured to have been a part of its evolution, particularly its development into the crucial post-operative recovery service it is today. We have consistently strived to adapt and meet the community’s evolving needs. This anniversary allows us to celebrate the unwavering dedication of our staff, who deliver exceptional care each day, and the resilience of those we support, who serve as a constant source of inspiration.”
Managing Director Mark Fox. “The team’s 40th birthday is a significant milestone that allows us to acknowledge and celebrate their professionalism, compassion, and the remarkable achievements they have accomplished. We are immensely proud of our strong partnership with Sefton Council, healthcare colleagues, and commissioners. This collaboration serves as a powerful example of the positive impact that teamwork can have on delivering the highest quality care and support to our local community.”
