Waterloo Park’s relationship with the Kings Trust continues to literally flourish!
A group of young people from the Kings Trusts’ Volunteering in the Community initiative visited Waterloo Park along with their team leaders Jon and Hayley.
The group gave Waterloo’s garden a beautiful makeover, working tirelessly inside and out. The group, arranged an inside activity, pairing up with a person who attends the service, creating flower baskets. Outside the group painted, cleaned, weeded, planted and much more – our garden is transformed!
Everyone at Waterloo Park can’t thank them enough for the gorgeous garden they handed over to us. This amazing intergenerational programme warms our hearts every time. We look forward to them visiting us again very soon.
