Shared Lives Forum members, our experts with lived experience met today for lunch.
The Forum got together for the afternoon, generating meaningful engagement and co-production with Hazel and Charlie. Lunch and cakes and biscuits went down a treat with plentiful supplies of juice and tea and coffee by Lesley to keep those creative juices flowing !
Everyone involved participated fully with their views and ideas for
1. Shared Lives social events for 2026
2. Training and awareness raising they feel that they would benefit from.
3. What new people coming in to Shared Lives would benefit from in terms of
support and information with a view to co-producing a welcome pack.
All the information was gathered and added to a visual plan which will be displayed in the meeting room for all to see and an action plan will be developed and put in place.
