Sefton New Directions is a wholly owned Company of Sefton Council. We currently employ around 350 staff across the business who pride themselves on delivering high quality social care and support to vulnerable groups within the Sefton area.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Woodlands. Woodlands is a specialist service providing supported living for adults with mental health needs, focusing on promoting rehabilitation and preventing relapse.
The post-holder will participate with other members of the team, under the direction of the Service Manager in the creation of an environment to ensure the service user’s needs for development, care, personal independence, privacy and rehabilitation are recognised and developed to their full potential.
Experience of working with adults who have mental health problems is essential. A Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent would be advantageous.
The ability to work weekends, evenings and to undertake sleep in duty is also an essential requirement of the post.
An enhanced DBS check is required.
