Sefton’s leading care provider, New Directions, is now recruiting for and Enabling Worker to work in James Dixon Court. We currently employ around 350 staff across the business who pride themselves on delivering high quality social care and support to vulnerable groups within the Sefton area.
When working in our team you will come across individuals from all walks of life, with diverse needs. You will learn new skills and be given an opportunity to gain a recognised qualification. We are looking for people who have a friendly, confident approach and when needed can work under pressure.
James Dixon Court provides enabling beds for people who may benefit from a period of rehabilitation after an illness, fall, or spell in hospital. The aim is to help people to improve their mobility and regain daily living skills to enable them to live independently once again in their own homes.
Day, evening and weekend shifts, therefore must be flexible. .
Experience of working with vulnerable people within a care environment is advantageous, but not essential. A Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent is also desirable.
An Enhanced DBS Check is required.
