Sefton’s leading care provider, New Directions, is now recruiting for a Support Worker in Lyra Road, Waterloo. We currently employ around 350 staff across the business who pride themselves on delivering high quality social care and support to vulnerable groups within the Sefton area.

Lyra Road offers a personalised service to adults who have learning disabilities and/or autism. Our staff work closely with individuals to develop their knowledge and understanding, highlighting key community values of respect, choice, dignity, privacy and stability.

Our supported living teams are on hand to provide support with relationships, enable people to develop new skills and advise people on their finances, all of which enables individuals to live as independently as possible.

The successful candidate will participate, on a rota basis, in the daily delivery of the service. There is a requirement to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays, in accordance with a planned rota. 

Experience of working with vulnerable people in community or residential based settings is essential. A Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent is also essential.

An Enhanced DBS Check is required.
