Sefton’s leading care provider, New Directions, is now recruiting for a Support Worker in North Hub, Southport. We currently employ around 350 staff across the business who pride themselves on delivering high quality social care and support to vulnerable groups within the Sefton area.
The North Hub is a large day service that provides quality care and support for adults who have learning, physical disabilities, autism or associated mental health conditions. The Hub has another satellite site within the locality where service users participate in horticulture activities.
The successful candidate will participate in the day-to-day delivery of a range of services for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism or associated mental health conditions; working with service users in a person-centred way to promote greater choice, skill development, independence and inclusion. The post holder will work in a variety of community-based settings, including day service activities.
Experience of working with vulnerable people in residential based settings is essential. A Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent is also essential.
An Enhanced DBS Check is required.
