Sefton’s leading care provider, New Directions, is now recruiting for a Team Leader in Chase Heys, Southport. We currently employ around 350 staff across the business who pride themselves on delivering high quality social care and support to vulnerable groups within the Sefton area.

Chase Heys is an intermediate/ discharge to assess  unit, It supports the NHS and Adult social care to support service users to reach their goals to return home. Daily we work alongside Occupational therapist, physiotherapist , GPs and District nurses along with many more allied health care professionals.

The post holder will work as part of an integrated team delivering care and support in a number of different ways.  You will contribute to meeting the assessed care needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual. Here at chase we promote independence by working within the enabling ethos, demonstrating in a sensitive, understanding and person-centered care approach .

The post holder will sit inside the management team ensuring day to day running of the service is safe and  service users feel supported within the environment . You will be responsible for supervising the daily work routine of care staff, ensuring that they are meeting the requirements of the post.

A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent is essential.  Sufficient experience of supervising staff to adequately meet the requirements of this post is also essential.

An Enhanced DBS Check is required.
