Engagement events are an essential part of any organisation’s growth and development. They allow members to come together and share their thoughts and ideas. Helping to improve the service. Recently, we held two engagement events. One for Supported Living and one for our Shared Lives Carers.
Supported Living strives to support each individual’s path to independence. It recently held an engagement event to ensure that each person’s voice is heard. The event started with supported people filling in questionnaires. They answered some questions on flip chart paper to inform service improvement planning. Afterwards, they enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch, finishing off the event with some fun activities. These included a quiz and a game of bingo for both supported people and staff.
It was amazing to see so many people come together to help improve our service. Supported Living is committed to listening to feedback and making the necessary changes. Providing the best possible support to our wonderful Supported Living residence comes before everything else.
Our Shared Lives Carers also came together for an important engagement event. The event kicked off with Carers filling out questionnaires about the service. Shared Lives is committed to listening to feedback and making the necessary changes. Providing the best possible support to its people is paramount.
Both events were successful in bringing everyone together. We are proud to say that each person’s voice was heard. The input provided by those who attended is invaluable. We will use it to continue improving the services provided. Thank you to all who attended these events and contributed to their success. Together, we will work to create a better future for everyone.
